My house is now officially on the market and I am sad. I’m in the process of putting together a few posts about preparing a home for sale. For now, I am cleaning and boxing up clutter and trying to make it look as good as possible for the strangers that will be walking through and critiquing my styling ability.
The testing part of this post has to do with the picture. I think my new cell phone may be coding pictures where they end up posting rotated. Let’s see what I can figure out. More soon.
Just a couple of suggestions if your realtor hasn't already said... put up personal photos/items as it can prevent people from imagining themselves in the home. Put up any political &/or religious items for the same reason. Other than that - good luck and I hope for a quick sale at or very near your asking price. I miss ya and our knit times.
ReplyDeleteYep, I still have to pack up the pictures and my cross collection. For now, maybe it will keep any demons walking through my house at bay. I'm going slow with the de-personalization because I still need my house for Thanksgiving and the wedding and I do want it to still feel like home. After that, everything gets packed up. #sadness
